Date: Sunday 2nd July, 10:30 am - 4.30 pm Venue: Woodmansterne Village Hall, Banstead, Surrey This workshop is designed to help participants cope effectively with nerves, and develop stage-presence. It is for all levels - from those with severe stage-fright to seasoned professional performers. The day will include an explanation and discussion of the psychology of performing, as well as practical exercises and optional coaching in a supportive atmosphere. Players of other instruments as well as harps are welcome. If you would like to come but cannot bring a harp, you can borrow a clarsach to play on the day. The workshop will be given by Dan Evans . As well as performance skills, Dan also plays and teaches dulcimer and guitar, and teaches voice skills. He has taught classes, seminars, and workshops extensively both in the UK and USA. This is a repeat of the workshop which Dan previously gave in March at Abbots Langley, which was very successful.
